Where the XH-400 fits
Production lines and fixed workstations: the native RJ45 port keeps data flowing where WiFi is congested, and IP65 sealing handles the dust and wash-down that a production floor produces.
Vehicles and forklifts: 880 g with a 300 × 183 mm body mounts cleanly on a RAM arm, and the 10,000 mAh pack plus DC charging suits long shifts on a vehicle power supply.
Identity and enrolment counters: combine the offline ID card reader with a fingerprint sensor and face-capable camera work flow, and the tablet becomes a single-window registration station that does not depend on network quality.
Warehouse receiving and dispatch: add the rear 2D engine from Newland, Honeywell or Zebra and use the same unit for bin labels, waybills and returns.
Integrators: internal USB, TTL serial, GPIO and SPI headers are exposed inside the housing, so custom peripherals can be wired without external adapters.
OEM / ODM, factory direct
Module selection, memory tier, display resolution, Android version, housing colour, boot logo, pre-installed applications and packaging are all decided before the line starts. We can also match LTE bands and charger plugs to your destination market.
Fingerprint module selection
Fingerprint capture is optional. Confirm the selected sensor model, active area, SDK output formats and any required certification for your hardware and software configuration. Our FAP 10, FAP 20 and FAP 30 guide explains the single-finger capture profiles and the questions to check before ordering. For enrolment at temporary or mobile stations, see our mobile voter registration guide.
Ordering information
MOQ is 2 units, a sample is built in about 3 days and mass production runs about 25 days. Figures move when the XH-400 leaves its standard build — biometric module, RAM tier or vehicle mount — and those are quoted in writing before you order.
| MOQ | 2 units. One mounted at a fixed workstation and one for the forklift or vehicle trial — the two installations that usually need checking first. |
| Sample | Sample build and dispatch take about 3 days, after which the tablet is checked against the acceptance criteria agreed with you — biometric module and mount fit included — before mass production starts. |
| Lead time | About 25 days from sample approval to shipment for the configuration and quantity on your order. Workstation and vehicle installation checks are part of the written schedule issued before the first sample is built. |
| SDK and documentation | API and SDK support for the modules fitted to your build — biometric capture, NFC or 2D imager — plus the agreed specification sheet. Integration formats for your workstation software are confirmed before the order is placed. |
| Certification | The Android 10 and Android 11 builds both ship with GMS certification, and the fingerprint module holds Ministry of Public Security certification where fitted. Market-specific approvals are agreed before production so the test plan fits the schedule. |
| Packaging | Retail box contents and carton dimensions are in the specification above; pallet quantities and incoterms are agreed with the order. Mounting hardware for workstations or vehicles is packed to match the installation plan. |
